Thetford mines Pilot plan
The Company is currently building a 24 ton a day oxide plant in
order to establish the viability processing of the Thetford Mines
tailings and bulk samples from laterite deposits in Cuba, Guatemala and

SULFIDE REFINERY DEMONSTRATION PLANT : The Nichromet sulfide
technology lends itself to the treatment of copper and zinc concentrates, or any
sulfide concentrate. Nichromet Extraction will build a hydro metallurgical plant
located in a port in Québec, near Montréal, with a capacity of initially
treating 20,000 tonnes of concentrate a year for a capital cost of US$8.1
million. Recoveries of various copper and zinc concentrates, on a lab scale,
have exceeded 97%.
